Remove empty rows from a CSV file
Exports often leave blank lines or rows made only of commas. They break imports and make data look shorter or longer than it is. CSVFix removes them in one click.
Open CSVFixHow to do it
- Drop your CSV file on the page, or paste your table.
- Keep Remove empty rows switched on. Leave First row is a header on so your header is never removed.
- Review the preview. Empty rows appear in red with the label removed: empty row.
- Download the cleaned file as CSV or Excel.
Why it happens
Empty rows come from exports that pad their output, from deleting values without deleting the row, and from files joined end to end. A row counts as empty when every cell is blank, including cells that only contain spaces.
